Accelerate Your HPLC Pump Calibration

ACCELERATE YOUR HPLC PUMP CALIBRATION

HPLC Pumps are commonly calibrated with a gravimetric method by weighing the amount of solvent delivered within a given time and then, using density as parameter, calculating the real flow rate. While this method can be extremely accurate, it is also relatively time consuming, often taking in excess of 30 minutes. The TESTA Liquid Chromatography Flowmeter can measure HPLC flow rate in real time and it also tracks each measurement automatically with microsecond resolution, thus allowing fast and reliable collection of flow rate data. It can be demonstrated, using the flowmeter that you can achieve calibration of a typical HPLC pump in less than 3 minutes with an accuracy comparable or even superior to the gravimetric method.

HPLC System Troubleshooting

Constant flow of solvent through an HPLC System is of paramount importance, as results obtained can be distorted by changes in flow rate. New data shows how our Liquid Chromatography Flowmeter can be used to determine just how constant flow from your HPLC pump really is. The flowmeter is proven to reveal the smallest leaks present in an HPLC system, seal rings close to their wear limit and also randomly malfunctioning HPLC pump valves. More than all this, the flowmeter can also reveal possible blockages at the outlet of your system as well.
