FlowChrom
Q: Our HPLC systems have to be regularly qualified. What value does your FlowChrom system add to this requirement?
A: Regular qualification of liquid chromatography instrumentation is a necessity in pharmaceutical and life science labs that is prescribed in domestic and international regulations. While periodic qualification is therefore important for compliance it only supplies a “snapshot” of the instrument at the moment of qualification. It is therefore good practice to implement control tools which can validate the performance of your HPLC, UHPLC or GPC/SEC system with each and every run. Such tools must be designed and proven able to confirm the validity of a specific chromatographic separation, during or after each run is completed. In 2024 - TESTA Analytical introduced FlowChrom - an automated real time monitoring system for continuous digital recording of liquid chromatography system performance. Having FlowChrom operating 100% of the time allows creation of a robust and traceable log of the performance in terms of flow. Flow is one of the most fundamental parameters relating to the performance of liquid chromatography systems. Using FlowChrom not only qualifies the performance of your liquid chromatography system for compliance purposes, but it also enables problems to be detected before they affect a relevant run, which in turn means less downtime and reduced cost of operation.
